A stroll through shops and great history
Underlying the project
IL PADIGLIONE DEGLI UFFICIALI
The Officers’ Pavilion is the ideal place for those who wish to discover the luxury of living in history. The imposing structure will in fact be restored while preserving the architectural and structural features of the 19th-century Austro-Hungarian building.
The ambitious restoration project has been entrusted to a team of expert architects, with the aim of faithfully respecting the original structure, organising the spaciousness of the spaces in bright and evocative environments to meet modern comfort requirements.
The originality of the built structure, home to the Officers’ Pavilion, is an exceptional work in which nature, lake and river, and the work of man are integrated into the urban design of the city.
Since 9 July 2017, the Peschiera Fortress has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Lithos took care of the Officers’ Pavilion with the conservative restoration of all its external architectural elements.
Lithos has been working in the field of conservative restoration since 1985 and carries out work on stone materials, frescoes, wall paintings, plaster, marble, terracotta, plaster, stucco, wood. He has worked for the most important organisations in the field of cultural heritage conservation, including Unesco, the World Monument Fund, ICCROM, the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Academié de France in Rome, INAF and many Italian municipalities.
